Dr.Sumanth Raman started working on radio programs while in school.Thereafter when in College he became a freelance producer for All India Radio,Madras producing mainly sports programs. 

After a long hiatus Sumanth returned to radio in late 2015 with the Quiz program "Tamizhgathin Mastermind" a show aimed at identfying the "Brain of Tamil Nadu." This program is aired on All India radio's FM Rainbow Channel. 

The first season of the show was successful and this led to the second season in 2017, Tamizhagathin Mastermind-Season 2.

The Third season is currently on air in 2018

Besides this and other quiz programs,Dr.Sumanth has also been involved for many years in anchoring talk shows and panel discussions on Radio.
